Skin needling encourages collagen production, which makes it a great anti-ageing treatment. It also works brilliantly on acne scarring and stretch marks.
How often should I get skin needling?
The effects of skin needling can last up to 12 weeks. Your therapist will advise you on how many treatments your skin concerns require.
What should I do after skin needling?
Your therapist will let you know what products suit your skin in terms of after care, but as a rule, you'll want to avoid makeup, exercise and sun exposure for 24-48 hours. Any redness should go down within a day or two - get back in touch with your clinic if it doesn't. You should also avoid exfoliating your skin and using active skincare with ingredients like vitamin C, retinol, AHA, BHA, and glycolic acid.
